On May 7, the next meeting of the Evaluation Commission of the Republic Innovation Competition was held at the Ministry of Economy.
Representatives of the Ministries of Economy, Ecology and Natural Resources, Education, Transport, Communication and High Technologies, "ASAN Service", State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources and representatives of international organizations participated in the meeting.
The Chairman of the Commission, Deputy Minister of Economy, Sevinc Hasanova, spoke about the importance of innovation in the direction of the modern development trends of Azerbaijan's economy, ensuring the sustainable development of the economy, increasing competitiveness and export potential, and strengthening environmental protection. brought to the attention of the participants the priority of the projects and the issues to be discussed at the meeting.
At the meeting, based on the opinions and suggestions of the members of the Commission, it was decided to determine the areas and priority directions of the future competition and to implement relevant organizational measures in this regard.
Note: The "Republic Innovation Competition" Commission promotes the goals of the United Nations Agenda for Sustainable Development until 2030, encourages innovation, and at the same time, "Azerbaijan 2020: Vision for the Future Development Concept" and "Strategic path for the main sectors of the national economy and economy" maps" was established by the relevant order of the Minister of Economy to evaluate the projects submitted to the innovation competition, which is planned to be held every year.
